A Royal Feast for the Senses
The Franҫaix Wind Trio delighted their audience with a varied and beautiful programme in Pugin’s St Giles Catholic Church in Cheadle.
The Trio – Jacob Perkins on oboe, Will Hammond on clarinet and bassoonist Dominic O’Sullivan are graduates of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Their wide ranging music was splendidly brought to an end with Gershwin’s I’ve got Rhythm. The acoustics and decoration of the venue added to the pleasure of a most enjoyable evening.
Thanks to the Trio and to Father Eric Kemball for allowing the concert to take place in the glorious setting of St Giles Church.
