Leisure and Pleasure

Chairman – Mary Cooke

The aims of the sub committee are to promote sporting, music and various leisure activities.  The sub committee has been involved in murder mystery evenings, crown green bowling competitions( including an inter federation match against Cheshire Federation in 2019), Zoom poetry readings, public speaking workshop, ukulele workshops, walking netball, darts competition, a photography workshop, countryside walks;  and last but not least write your autobiography.  In the past the sub committee worked in conjunction with the Education and Pubic Affairs sub committee on the Federation Quiz.

Events planned for the future are: more Zoom poetry sessions, a competition with Homes and Gardens with the brief to write about a house or garden they had visited.  A zoom tour of Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, a musical evening and possibly another Murder Mystery Evening.
