The Events Team are the coordinators of different activities for the Federation, which take place throughout the County.
We aim to find different venues so that our get togethers are much more inclusive, especially as Staffordshire members are spread widely throughout the County.
We are striving to include WIs, local to the area of each event, to assist us.
Recent events include a cream tea at Whiston Hall with Lesley Smith, the curator of Tutbury Castle, in character and the costume of Nell Gwynne. Whiston WI ladies and the Events team made it happen and the afternoon went with a swing.

Our two big Annual Events are ‘Here Comes Spring’ in April and ‘It’s Christmas in November at the County Showground. This spring we were entertained by David Harper, TV personality and antiques expert. At our ‘It’s Christmas’ event last November we were lucky enough to have Wynne Evans, opera singer, Celebrity MasterChef winner and also very well known for his TV advertisements as Gio Compario as our main main speaker.
SAVE THE DATE: November 19th Will Kirk, the furniture restorer from TV’s ‘The Repair Shop’ will be speaking and Debbie Hill from ‘Perry’s Field to Fork, Eccleshall’ will be demonstrating sausages and pork pie making during the morning. Hope to see you there.
