Mum was a long standing member of Hoar Cross WI from the 1970s until it’s suspension in 2019, so I have grown up with the WI.
As County Secretary, I was involved with the setting up of The Women of Uttoxeter WI in 2015, and have been their Secretary since then.
I am a member of the Events Committee. Through the WI, I have enjoyed meeting members of the different WIs, have attended the NFWI AGM a number of times in different parts of the country – always a great day out – and was lucky enough to attend the Centenary Garden Party at Buckingham Palace in 2015.
I like to walk, run the parkrun, do cross stitch and knitting, visit the cinema and theatre, and read.
