Trustee – Jocelyn Morrison

Jocelyn Morrison

I have lived in Werrington for over 40 years and am a retired Ward Manager who came to the WI late in life.   Having attended a fashion show staged by my neighbouring WI in 2014, I was so impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the welcome I decided to join.

The chance to be a delegate at National Conference introduced me to the wider Federation. The experience and enthusiasm of the delegates persuaded me to apply to be a Trustee.

Sadly, ill health and major surgery in 2019 meant I had to resign from the Board, but now, fully recovered she have been welcomed back to the fold with open arms and have picked up again my place on the Homes and Gardens subcommittee.  My main hobbies are singing and gardening – something I did a lot of during lockdown.
